Surgical needles (technical information)

Suture materials are completed with needles of various forms of sharpening of the point, curvature and length, which are mainly made in our production of steel AISI 302. The needles are made from 4 mm to 80 mm in length, from 0.14 mm to 1.60 mm in diameter. Due to the own production, we are ready to develop and manufacture atraumatic needles in the shortest possible time on an individual request, taking into account your wishes.

TAPER POINT		CURVED CUTTING
The needle point tapers to a sharp tip. The needle body than flattens to an oval shape		Triangle-shaped body with third cutting edge on the inside

MICRO-POINT SPATULA		TAPERCUT
Flat in point, sharp cutting edges in the horizontal plane of the point		A shortened point with smooth transition to the round body shape

SOFT CUTTING POINT (CORONARY)		TAPERCUT - T2
A round point that turns into a round and then into a rectangular shape of the main body of the needle for better penetration in cardiovascular surgery		Tapercut - T2 with a variable angle of cutting edges, to reduce puncture force. The needle remains round bodied thus eliminating the additional tissue trauma.
